My point is that the Switch is what, two and a half months old? For a system that new that has hardware that makes direct ports from the competition difficult while also offering a fairly new hardware profile, it's got a nice little library.

Buying the game twice doesn't make it twice as good. Sales figures are just that.

If your metric of a console/games' success is how many people bought it, then you aren't a consumer, you're just invested in the brands' identity, except without owning any shares.

It doesn't matter how many sheep buy one game. It also doesn't matter if you enjoy a game but someone else doesn't. What matters is if YOU like the game. So if you love your Switch, fantastic. Hopefully you'll play more games and expand your horizons rather than just buy Mario and Zelda titles until the day you die.
