Never even heard of this. If you're talking about Corpse Party PC, that was such a poorly-coded mess of a game in the first place that she had to rewrite the source in C++ because it would take longer to learn Hot Soup Processor (which isn't easy to use on modern Windows). She fixed up Xanadu Next and Trails FC quick, on top of adding arbitrary widescreen to all Falcom games + features from console ports (like Julia and Mueller in SC). Sara's not perfect but she's done a great job overall, better than the PC port team that did Little King's Story (which Durante mostly fixed recently).

Just some advice. The battle system is like old style RPG, and so, some attacks have long cast animations. I'd advise you to download cheat engine and use speedhack to speed them up, cause they can get annoying really fast.

Otherwise the series is plenty fun. Make sure to explore and talk to NPCs after any story progression, plenty of nice stories and world building around.

Dark Matter EX is a damn life saver against some mobs. Barely anything resists Space magic for some reason, and it draws enemies closer to the center where you cast it.

Petrosphere can shut down some enemies entirely, though it doesn't do damage. Those Arch Demons in Chapter 5 are stupidly difficult until they can only move one or two spaces. MOV down is devastating and hardly anything resists it.
