Trio is the better game and the best HM in a long time.
If you liked the first SoS you'll like Trio.

The beginning is a little slow, but it's faster than SoS1 and picks up in the middle of the first spring.

Xseed really fucked up with only deciding to do the dlc after the release of the game. I doubt many people will care to get the dlc so many months after they already beat the game.

Two more marriage candidates, Inari now has a kid, more events with the townsfolk, with them even interacting with each other and visiting the other towns, more dialogue with your spouse, and your parents even get to have an event with your spouse too

More events, dialogue for everyone, clothes, and it lets you marry Woofio or Stephanie. Also Inari gets kids.

Personally I'm looking forward to the new marriage dialogue and my spouse getting more daily lines.

I don't really care for this new Story of Seasons. The last one was much better in my opinion.
