My Roccat Kova + that I've had for a few years bit the dust today. I need something that I can use in either hand, so a lot of the right hand only well reviewed mice are out of the question. I use a claw grip on my mouse.

Based off what what I've heard in the past, the Deathadder 2013, Zowie FK1, and Logitech MX518/G400 fit my needs but they all seem EOL so I'd end up buying new old stock off eBay and the Zowie is a bit out of my price range. Anything I'm missing?

Pic related: Fucking old
>>
>>376940714
That chart is so fucking old.

How big are your hands?
>>
>>376941036
Big enough, not tiny. I haven't needed to shop around for mice in a few years so I don't have any recent information. The only person I know who bought a mouse recently got a Deathadder Chroma
>>
>>376940714
Deathadder is in god tier so chart still accurate
>>
>>376941505
Does it hold up? I've stayed away from Razer shit because of many "it broke in less than a year" stories
>>
>>376941309
so "medium".

is $60 for a Zowie FK1 really out of your price range?
>>
>>376941879
I was hoping to spend not much more than 40ish desu
>>
>>376942060
Are you a child or something?

At a certain point you're going to have to concede things. The FK1/FK2 are already basically barebones FPS mice with only the necessary features.

You could buy a Logitech G203, that one only has side buttons on the left but it has a pretty good sensor and costs $40. G100s is shittier but only $30 or so. The ROG Sica is like $45.
>>
>>376941648
My flatmate buys a new razer product almost every year due to them failing. They aren't just stories, only razer shills still buy there shit tier products. If you want a good mouse buy one of the new G series Logitech. At least you know it will be still working in 3 years time unlike any razer product.
>>
>>376942060
If you're a Leaf Deathadder chroma is on amazon.ca for half price right now 40$
>>
Deathadder 2013 just started double clicking after exactly a year. Warranty is two years and I'm getting a deathadder chroma as a replacement. Anyone know if this is a good thing or a bad thing
>>
>>376943148
well, your next deathadder is gonna start doing the same thing, or something different, eventually. modern razer products aren't known for their longevity.
>>
>>376943148
First razer product broke within a year
"I'll get a different model"
Anon plz.
Wise up and get a refund and a decent mouse from a decent brand.
>>
>>376942863
I guess I could import from amazon canada. That's $30 USD + shipping but >>376942790
makes me not want to.
>>
I have the Steel Series Rival, got it for $30 and it's pretty damn nice
>>
>>376943379
>>376943338
I've had a razer Deathadder and black widow keyboard for around 4 years now both works as well as day one. Either I got lucky or you're too rough with them. That said I would recommend Deathadder been a great mouse in my experience
>>
>>376943379
As if it's that simple. It was a gift, and trying to get a replacement was hard enough and they weren't even supposed to do it since I didn't have the gutters information. So they said they'd ship me a chroma if I sent in the 2013. I'd rather have a chroma than no mouse at all. After this one shits the bed I'm getting something different.

If you buy razer or zowie you're a marketing victim.

You want a Logitech mouse with the PMW3366 sensor.
>>
>>376943840
Gifters, not gutters.
>>
>>376943779
I personally have never owned a razer product, I only know a handful of people stupid enough to have bought one, and only one stupid enough to keep buying there products. I prefer to pay for a product rather than a logo.
>>
>>376940714
why is the steelseries sensei bad? i have one and i do well in most of the fps games i play for competitive reasons. Low sens, no acceleration, and it feels fine and comfy.
>>
>>376943840
Do your friends/family hate you or something? gifting you a razer product.

If I were you I'd keep the new razer in it's box and shill it off to someone stupid enough to buy it and use the money to buy something decent. Best option there.
>>

*Rival 300
>>
Thinking of getting a G403, I got big hands
>>
>>376943925
he's not getting a 3366 for 40 dollars. also that chart is depreciated unless you like paying extra for old mice on ebay.

pic related is pretty comfy
>flawless optical sensor
>not super over-designed
>palm grip (there's a claw grip version with the same internals, too)
Just make sure you don't get the 8200 since it has a shitty laser sensor instead
>>
>>376944258
G602s are not good for serious gamers. I say this as a G602 owner. The latency is shitty, and the sensor isn't very good.

If you want a good Logitech wireless mouse, get the G900, otherwise stick to wired mice like the G403.
>>
>>376943925
>>376944228

How about the G303? Better or worse than the 203? It seems to have that sensor
>>
>>376944258
Got two of those for my brother and I. One's sensor shit the bed and the other's middle mouse button stopped working. I personally wouldn't recommend one.
>>
>>376944228
>he's not getting a 3366 for 40 dollars.

G203 is $40
G402 too I think
>>
>>376944527
>>flawless optical sensor

There is no such thing and you need to stop regurgitating misinformation. The Naos 7000 uses a last-gen Pixart 3310 sensor. The best sensors available right now are 3360 and 3366.
>>
>>376944895
G203 is not 3366, it is a sensor made by Logitech themselves. reviews I read say it's pretty good, but it's not a 3366.

G402s and 403s are 60 bucks.
>>
>>376944647
It has a 3366, it's okay. The shape is sort of weird. Possibly worth a try
>>
Anyone know anything about Corsair M65 pro?
>>
>>376940714
Steelseries 300. It's much like the deathadder, but with better build quality, one more button, and better, and less intrusive/bloated software that allows you to adjust DPI in increments of 1 and doesn't require you to join a botnet. And yeah it is different to the Sensei.

I got one after my Deathadder 3.5 broke after 2 years of normal use. It's just as good or better in every area.
>>
>>376940714
>G3 not mentioned
hello childrens
>>
get a g502 and stop being a foor fag
>>
>>376948705
g502 is budget tier
g900 is the actual good one
>>
>>376948705
>g502
Everyone says this one is heavy though, it also won't work with both hands so it's not even a question of money
>>
>>376948901
G900 has the exact same sensor but costs $150 instead of $60 for no reason.
>>
>>376949292
It's a wireless mouse that doesn't suck.

also you're being unfair, the G900 has been $120 for ages on Amazon, just like the G502 is only $60 now.

additionally,
>125 grams minimum weight
>asymmetrical layout

might as well buy a G403 or G303.
>>
>>376949674
All wireless mice suck. There is absolutely zero reason to ever use a wireless mouse unless you're using it on a laptop
>>
>>376949901
it doesn't have latency issues at all though. there's absolutely nothing wrong with it other than "hurr durr I hate wireless mice" and the price.

personally, I find wireless mice way more comfortable and convenient. not everyone will, but the G900 isn't a mouse for everyone. I'm not the one who mindlessly pointed it out, though.
>>
my mice history of the past 17 years:

MX518(or any version prior to 2006) > 3.0 > 3.0 steelseries > zowie EC2-A

I'd easily vote the 3.0 ss the winner, but the zowie comes close
>>
>>376950163
>it doesn't have latency issues at all though.

Yes it does. Every wireless mouse has 'latency issues', it's the entire reason corded mice exist.
>>
>>376944527
funny you said that. 8200 was my last mouse and it was fucking garbage. g502 so much better
>>
>>376950276
it literally has the exact same latency as wired mice. the entire point of the mouse's design and the reason it costs $120 was to be a wireless mouse with latency comparable or better than similar wired mice, and you can read any fucking review on the internet and they'll all confirm that.
>>
>>376950163

yeah of course. Your wireless mouse has no latency
>>
>>376950512
>it literally has the exact same latency as wired mice

kek. literally impossible
>>
>>376950751
>literally impossible
wireless mice have built in latency of ~8ms to reduce clock rate and conserve power. the g900 does not, and as a result, it offers the same 3 ms or so latency literally any other gaming mouse has.

the only difference in terms of "speed" between a wired and wireless signal is that the wireless one could be prone to interference if it was designed badly and/or in a high noise environment. light travels at the same fucking speed. it's not 1990.

It's interesting to me that Razer is known for failing in the long term. I've had my 2013 Deathadder for years now.
>>
>>376955125
Same, I've had my 2013 Deathadder for literally 10 years, no issues, it's the greatest mouse ever made.
>>
my old mx518, that I've had for like 9 years, works good and all, but it's all crusty and gross.

As you can see from the image, I'm a disgusting piece of shit who doesn't make any attempt to take care of his things

The mouse works as well as it did in the beginning. I'm not sure how people break theirs.
