N&T tried to add stuff like no more static screens, tried to redo the controls, and that just fucked up the game. N.Sane Trilogy is the same as the original, only thing they are fixing is a save system to Crash 1, and adding time relics to 1 and 2.

Crash 1 is probably gonna end up superior to the original, while 2 and 3 are more or less the same.

The first game was designed around the d-pad, you can tell right away if you play them back to back. The levels just work when you use a d-pad, thats not the case in the next 2 games.

Same goes for spyro 1 compared to the sequels.

Shit even zelda on n64 specifically designed its levels around the octogate and replaying it with smooth sticks makes certain rooms more difficult.

Still going to be fun but its a thing that is also true.
