What is objectively better, anime or video games?
Literature.
Both are shit.

video games inspired by anime
Anime games

literature is actually the lowest possible type of art. you just write out bullshit and stuff you think make sense (it doesn't) and then publish it and others read your retardation and their brains shrink
games, cartoons, comics - this needs a creative input and skill of multiple people
Anime doesn't suffer from overpriced DLC and microtransactions.

Neither do most games
And it suffer from macrotransactions but you just pirate it
Anime

>BD Box is as expensive as an used car
>Limited Edition is even more costly
>you would probably want to read the source material if it exist which costs too
>fanwork, doujinshi, fan compilations etc.
>a figurine or daki of your favourite chara would be nice too
anime is absolutely expensive unless you're a shitter leeching anime from torrents or streaming it

Videogames will soon evolve to that level. Literature has the advantage that it is aimed mostly at adults and has a lot of history. Videogames still is developed mostly for teens and young adults, but soon it will be for everybody (as those young adults will grow up) and then we can (maybe) have videogames that are works of art like some books. Either that or it will become as bad as Hollywood.
