Sophie is garbage and one of the worst entries of all the localised games. I have yet to play Firis so I won't comment on it.

I really liked Firis, only one I've ever played though. Only annoying part was the ass ton of cutscenes you'd have to sit through sometimes. I just want to make some shit and then you get a cutscene after alchemy ten times in a row.

The big problem with Firis is that it's optimized like shit on both PC and PS4. Game runs like pure ass even though we got the pre-patched version that supposedly fixed a lot of shit.

But other than that everything else is solid. Making the world bigger and encouraging you to explore it actually makes the story more engaging instead of being limited to a base atelier you have to return to all the time.
