Get rid of them, get rid of DLC, and go back to releasing a finished game and augmenting it with expansion packs.

Remove them. As far as purely aesthetic things (skins, clothes, voice packs, etc.) nothing is special when people can simply buy them. Things in games should be earned through gameplay. F2P games are shit because you feel weak and progress slowly unless you shell out bucks. The progression (long-term pacing) is purposefully slowed down so that people are more tempted to spend money.

As far as DLC goes, it's fine if the price is fine, and if it's not on-disc or day one. Addons should be released down the road from launch in order to increase the longetivity of the game. Day one DLC is pure Jewery that should not exist.
