The easily exploitable, next to broken nature of the enemy AI and the resource system are impossible to ignore when you actually need to start learning how the game works.
Also, playing the game multiple times highlights how much barely interactive non-gameplay there is. It's nowhere near Uncharted levels though

I did play the game, I ignored /v/ like always because /v/ shits on every game and bought during a 2 for 1 deal on PSN.

I played it till the very end on the hardest difficulty and found every aspect underwhelming.
Joel was the only good part, everything else was boring.
I found that every area was either a corridor or an arena like area filled with boxes where you fought the enemies.

But if you craft a molotov you cannot craft a medkit, which means you have to make a tough choice

I really think TLoS should have ended after the base game. I dont think much was added in the DLC and I firmly don't believe an entire game is justified after the firm ending the first had.

They'd be very hard pressed to match the raw emotional impact the first title had. Players have experience the absolute worst they could have faced, and I genuinely don't see how another title can draw the same personal attachment from the player.

If its about finding the cure, the ending of the first game is completley undermined. Joel killing the Firefly researchers so Ellie can live, damning humanity means nothing if humanity isnt actually damned for his decision. A cure undermines the first game.

And the entire draw of the first title is an emotionally gripping storg about the relationship between a shellshocked girl with PTSD and a broken man.

I cant help but think a sequel will be Uncharted but zombie apocalypse OR it will be a story that undermines the first game

But what do you mean by "politics" most games show reflections of real life culture and politics. When i play Yakuza, the game reflects criminal life in a particular light. GTA reflects it in another. All you are showing is that you only thought games included "politics" when you no longer agreed with them. Decisions should be influenced by the vision of the game and the influence they'll have on the quality of the final product. Also, it does change things.
