It's okay, general opinion is that it's a solid entry with flaws, but not offensively so and it's a good entry point for the series.

Also Milla is objectively best girl in the series.

Nah, it's pretty solid. It does feel like it was rushed so it could release as an anniversary title. Play Jude's route first, there's not a whole bunch of differences between the routes.

X1 is a pretty ok Tales. Not the best but not the worst. It sets up X2 which is so much better, imo, so if you want more Tales you have that.

Xillia was my first tales too. Got me hooked on grinding because I found fighting system to be really fun.

Yes, you fucked up. Xillia is one of the worst entries in the series. Go play some Eternia, Destiny R, Symphonia, Rebirth, Abyss, Vesperia, Graces.

Xillia 2 is trash and the battle system sucks, ignore the autists who love it because they can slowly dial in infinite combos

Vesperia is a better Xillia. Symphonia is good but shows its age. Graces has fun combat but the most painfully obnoxious if all the casts. Berseria and Zestiria are awful on all fronts
