Anyone else basically dislike Western games?
The Witcher and some "RTS" games are good, but that's pretty much all I tolerate. I hate most other Western games because they feel so "shitty". I think a lot of it is the culture gap between East and West, but that's why I find the patience with Western so bizarre. It's like people fetishize Western culture just for being "exotic".
I know we're supposed to respect each other's tastes, but I honestly think less of people who love Western games. They seem genuinely brain damaged - denying superior (Eastern) games and pretending to enjoy something unquestionably awful. It just gets on my nerves, more so because I know lots of them actually enjoy Western shit, so they aren't just contrarians.
Anyone else sort of feel like the West is overrated and Western game fans are gay morons?Fans of Western games are welcome to reply, but I suspect you'll give me the usual spiel.

While I play a lot of play japanese games, I don't dislike western games. In fact half of my favorite games of all time were created by western developers. I just like good games regardless of their origin.

I enjoy western games for immersive sim and classic wrpg.
However, the further you go down the timeline, western games get worse. Japan still has good franchises that are still getting great installments
