Sooo.. i never played bioshock and the whole serie 1 week ago but i always wanted to because i knew a bit of the story and what it was, the idea of playing in a beautiful underwater city and all that jazz.

So i finished playing Bioshock 1 yesterday. I played with the good ending without harvesting the little sister like a cuck that want everything and because i find them adorable and doesnt deserve what they got, and i have to say.. WOW. Bioshock 1 is amazing. The gameplay, the story, the character. I found everyone to be like-able, in particular Andrew Ryan/Sanders Cohen/ And i really loved Tenenbaum too I found her cool as fuck and i loved her voice (played on french dubs btw). Seeing andrew ryan slowly becoming what he hated and seeing him regrets everything.. sanders cohen was really funny and disturbing at the same time..
The thing that i really liked in bioshock 1 was the Big daddy tought. Their AI is really cool. They just wander around and moan like whale, taking little sister, protecting them. I find that adorable, and their combat AI is really hard to fight to be honest, Proximity mines were OP Against them tought.

Now i've started playing bioshock 2 AND WOW it's amazing too in my opinion. Fucking love playing as a big daddy, the drill is making me feel so powerful (and at the same time, the drill feel underpowered compared to the Wrench :/) and the Big sister.. let's say that they gave me a BONER. and they feel powerful as fuck, more than a big daddy...

I can't wait to see infinite, but i've seen the Crowbcat video and it worrie me. Steam review say it's an amazing game tought so it look great anyway even if a bit downgraded.

I just beat Infinite again and I feel the same way.

Columbia is a really interesting place to explore and learn about, and the duality between Fitzroy and the Vox Populi and Comstock and the Founders while feeling a bit on the nose, was still cool to watch play out.

Then it all gets thrown away when Elizabeth becomes a God that explore infinite dimensions and then the game becomes all about her and her two dads, while also having that implied meta of all video games being the same, which isn't nearly as strong as Bioshock's meta of the player only having as much control over a game as the game permits them.

Burial at Sea is even worse, Elizabeth is retroactively made the linchpin to fucking everything in the Bioshock series, it's like Toriyama wanking over Lightning.

I don't know about you, but I enjoy the CT combat system, and I've played FF1 more than once, the story can be summarized in a paragraph, but why do I keep replaying it? Because I like actually playing it, I like building my party and fighting the bosses and doing all that.
