How the fuck does Soldier have the highest skill ceiling? Not Sniper? The amount of skill needed to consistently headshot high priority targets such as Soldiers rocket jumping or good scouts is insane. Or maybe the Scout? Try consistently juking soldiers/pyros/heavys whilst also hitting meatshots. I bound switching viewmodels to a key and use it almost every match, but it's barely ever worth it, if you're not just fucking around. It's good to get an overall feeling for airshots right, like where the center line would be, and if you already know there's going to be a fight at a specific choke, it can be worth it, but often any kind of bonus gets negated if you push through and get to the next obstacle. Also you could just use the Original to get a better effect of that.

It depends on the maps and the people you're playing with. No medic? Conch is easily the best, but gets useless quick if a good medic is around, or it's a map with easy med pack access. If you have to deal with a strong heavy+medic combo, the crit banner can be very helpful. Enemy medic is running Kritz? Batallion's Backup and he might be in for a surprise. I tend to run the Backup as my standard pick, because it feels like the 20hp bonus plus the extra hp from medpacks is about as good as the bonus from the Conch, and you're actually benefitting if there's a medic. Eating all kinds of crits is good, if you're actually a good player in the first place, and most deaths you get are from random crits. Helping your shitter teams deal with sentries is also a nice bonus.

I have to say I was initially put of from the new Spy but currently loving him. DR got buffed. Big earner is actually useful now. Kunai too but plays differently. Every fucking spy loadout is viable now. Speed was the thing they shouldn't have given spy but I'm loving it. Can do a lot more jump tricks now too

The only bad thing about current-tf2 is no one plays custom maps. But the new maps and lobbies suffice for now. The new matchmaking system for casual is honestly not even bad.
