Get Good.

Learn the mechanics of the game, learn how it works, look up how to level if you're really having difficulty. The game isn't as difficult as people make it out to be. It just punishes you for making mistakes


I used to feel the same way when I started but now I find most bosses in Dark Souls easy. Except Gwyn, he plays like a Bloodbourne boss.

Tbh the beginning is the hardest because if you clear it you know exactly how to approach the entirety of the game. Mobs that can parry you, end level enemies that don't respawn if you manage to beat them, a bullshit dragon etc.

Tank the area, defend/evade every enemy to see their tendencies and you're set. Its a slow as fuck game where you mostly play it for the atmosphere and fearful exploration. Not for the """""""""""""""""amazing"""""""""""""""" battle.
