What should I play: Baldur's Gate or Wild Arms?

I've played Baldur's Gate and found it tiresome. Play Wild Arms and tell me what it's like.

Wild Arms setting is cool and the story is somewhat interesting.

But holy fuck the first hours are boring as shit. You don't unlock anything decent into several hours into the game.

Alter Code F is a bit worse in that respect since there's slightly longer loading times if I recall.
