You know you dont have to buy someones account right? All you should have to do is get someone who had the DLC purchased to license transfer over to your 360, then you download while logged in to their account. No need for someone to lose their account, me and a few buddies did this with Rock Band 3 plenty of times.

If you have one of the release-era discs of RB3, it's quite easy to play custom songs on it, no modding or anything bannable needed. Google c3 customs.

You won't get the beatles art and stuff, but you can play the beatles songs, at least.

That's the bullshit that caused the downfall of guitar-based rhythm games.

I honestly don't know. Never had an Xbox console, but I imagine it's not too difficult. I wish you luck in getting those Beatles tracks. Harmonix sometimes re-licenses songs, but they haven't done it for The Beatles.

Idk, by the same token I think rhythm games are one of the few places where the DLC model makes sense. Rather than have to buy a whole new game every year (or more often fuck activision) with a bunch of songs you hate, you can pick and choose exactly which ones you want. It is more expensive this way but at least I can avoid having all that shit thats popular these days in my game.

Considering that their initial licensing was only for the standalone game and they couldn't even let you import it like with every other RB game, I doubt they want to re-up. Unless they do a remastered version of Beatles RB for new consoles, they probably wouldn't be making much off that old ass DLC that only works with the one spinoff game.

I don't normally say this, but in this case it only makes sense to ask: Why don't you get a real guitar and learn how to play Beatles songs on it? If you don't even like music games, why play it via music game?

Why not play Phase Shift and download literally all of Guitar Hero and Rock Band's setlists, DLC, track packs, and expansions for free? The game works natively with Rock Band instruments so long as you've got a regular USB adapter for your PC.

No, probably because even the season pass would be crazy expensive. During the RB to RB3 years, Harmonix was putting out 3 songs a week at minimum. At pack prices, that was I wanna say $5.50 for the three songs. For 42 weeks that's $286 for a year. They'd probably offer an even further discount for the season pass but no doubt they'd still have to charge at least like $200+ to be able to make back their money. And that's at the minimum per week, some weeks back then had full albums.
Maybe they could do it these days, since RB4 DLC has been a lot slower in terms of new music (some weeks they literally just re-add older songs that were included on one of the old disks and weren't available before a la cart)

Depends on how narrow your tastes are. It could actually be cheaper if there are enough songs that you don't buy.

Ie. a $60 game that only has 20 songs you actually want would be cheaper at the $2 per song price.

It's an interesting question because I've considered just learning them but there's something about playing with the original recording in a very simplistic button pushing way with graphics and stuff. It's just different man.

They probably could have done a season pass, and I'm sure they would have had takers (I might have) but it would have been pretty expensive.
