I remember Destiny have a few really cool concepts, but the vast majority of them were garbage.

Dead Space has some pretty unique look concept art guns that never got in, if anyone has concept art from (2?).

Honestly I like the aesthetic of modern tech strapped to old shit. I think Elysium's airburst AKM turned me on to it.

I'm a fan of retro science fiction stuff, but games that include guns of that nature are horrendously limited in both quantity and quality.

steam punk is a trend that a lot of hipster faggots like the concept of, but only have the most shallow understanding of it.
What you see in the image is a culmination of that. Instead of trying to make something that would fit into a steam punk setting, they just took something modern and slapped some gears, copper wires, and gauges onto it.

You'll see this a lot with steam punk. Just throw some gears on randomly. Paint it copper and bronze. Bam.
