Nigga Richard is literally a tier above every other character. Put him in a kitty suit, kitty slippers, and give him clock up EX and he'll be attacking 5 - 6 times in-between enemies' movements.

Just remember it's his crafts that make him stupid. They have almost no recovery time so when you use Luminous Divider he gets to go immediately again. Give him a Tiger Heart and a Gladiator Headband (or whatever the one is that increases CP recovery) and you'll cut down bosses like butter.

Just started SC on hard after finishing FC on impossible. What is with this fucking difficulty spike? 9k HP Jaeger Kurt was practically unbeatable with his insta-spells/crafts, HUGE knockback, and to add insult to injury he could heal spam for 1k HP. It'd be fine if I was able to kill those shining poms with 200% charge attacks but you know how much damage I was doing to them? Fucking 6. S I X. This is ridiculous.

The prologue final boss is literally the hardest boss in the game besides the boss before the final one.

Make sure you save up ALL the puppets you pick up in chests throughout the tutorial, get ALL your gear out of the forest, and bake AS MANY cookies as you can to throw at him. Beat him down to about 40-30% then throw cookies at his face non-stop.

It's honestly stupid how hard he is but I got through it and felt so fucking satisfied. Trails on Normal difficulty is too boring and easy for me.

Most of the problems with the main cast could be justified to technical difficulties. Suppose each bonding event between every crew member amounts to 100 sentences. In a linear storyline, like most of the time in sky, falcom only has to divide these 100 sentences between every character.

Supposing you have 7 characters to choose from, and you could choose any of them freely in the bonding event, falcom would have to write 700 sentences of teammate bonding (and trails already have retardedly large scripts). Worse, each of the 7 different options lead to completely different scenarios because the people interacting with each other are all different. This gets exponentially more complicated if then the game has to remember what happened in these events, because it has to store a different response for EVERY possibility.

Because the above is nearly impossible to pull off (and ridiculous if you want to apply voice acting), Falcom choose to fudge things by simply dividing those 100 sentences of party interaction between the 7 different bonding event possibilities. The disadvantage is obvious: it weakens interaction between the party (because rean is always the focal point), and it makes a sort of quantum superposition that you don't know what happened to the events rean wasn't present for.

There are advantages though; personally I like that the story acknowledges that people have many different choices available to them in their lives and that many of them are equally valid.

I'm also pretty sure that many people would rather not see the bonding events of the characters they find annoying.

And in the future, maybe falcom will manage to really take advantage of the bonding events to the full, provided they go with a smaller cast (falcom bit a LOT more than they could chew with cold steel).

I've been trying to beat nightmare mode loa lucifiria solo, no items, roughly same level and the conclusion i draw is that it has 2 dangerous attacks, both of which have perfect accuracy and will fuck over fie:

One that he draws you inside him unless you have a physical shield, he can use that attack twice in a row faster than you can cast adamantine shield.

The other that kills you unless you impede him within the ridiculously small window of attack.

So far I've managed to get him under half HP with Rean, Sharon and Sara before he decides to kill me off with the above.
