he basically keeps deciding he gets more turns, buffs his magic then spam spells. it isn't so much he's op (though he could be depending on your levels) it's mostly about how long you sit waiting for your fucking turn.

Well, the Magatama goes in your eye, and the skills that give you more turns are Beast / Dragon Eye, so it sort of makes sense.
