Mostly shit ever since D2 happened and made everyone play follow the leader over something I didn't enjoy the first time around.

Divine Divinity was pretty fun though.

I liked the whole open world setup instead of strict act-by-act Diablo and every clone did. Sacred 2 pushed that even further, but was seriously sub-par otherwise. Also, horses.

Throne of Darkness. Probably the only game to get Diablo's atmosphere and mood right. Then again, it was Diablo: Japanese Edition.

DD is really not a Diablo clone, though. It just uses the same angled, because that sure as fuck ain't isometric view, action combat so people lump it together. If you liked DD check out Prince of Qin.

Whats the general consensus on Titan Quest?
I've owned it for years but never really got around to playing it to the end. Barely remember anything about it other than the cool ancient Greek aesthetic.

Path of Exile is a better Diablo 2 sequel than Diablo 3

You can beat the entire fucking game in 6 hours.
then it is just repeating those same 6 hours faster and faster with new characters that you have to grind splinters for. Splinters that fucking spawn between 1-6 every hour.
You need like 5k splinters to get a new character. Which is random.
No point every playing again.
