I just used sandman after leveling his luck to about 35, had Pulinpa+Confuse Boost. Only took about 30-40 mins to get 2mill off memento boss.

you can literally use anyone as long as you transfer confuison boost + pulinpa. get null phys on it so you will never have a chance of dying. Regenerate 3 is also nice.

I need motivation to do NG+. It's so time consuming that I can't be bothered.

Use Sandman. Have him learn Pulinpa + Confuse boost. Use Gallow to increase his Luck stat. Fight the Mementos bosses alone for about an hour. You'll see the difference.
