How do I into magic in this game?

I loved Oblivion, will I like Gothic 2 or 3? Skyrim was meh with its dumbified mechanics and kinda soulless story and I can't really get into Morrowind.

Might also mention that the combat is ridiculously hard to learn, it's basically dark souls except enemies don't announce their attacks seconds before and do them slow as fuck so you have time to react, in Gothic 2 enemies swing their sword instantly and you have a fraction of a second to react and block or dodge

But if you're good at the combat you can defeat every single enemy in the game at the beginning of the game at lvl 1, but that takes fuckton of skill

it's OP mid and late game once you get runes and a decent amount of mana, beginning is hard as fuck if you're very bad at the combat, since you can't waste LP on training melee you will have to rely on scrolls and weaker melee in the beginning
