Yeah really, imagine how fine the original series would be if it had that same aesthetic but with standard third person controls. Didn't Mario 64 come out before Tomb Raider 1? They really had no excuse.

Legend is so short I don't even consider it a full game. It's a 3 hour tech demo at most.

Anniversary is the first solid game of this design. It took the original and fleshed out some of the levels to match a 2008 game.

Underworld was rushed and incomplete despite taking the longest and most budget out of all of them. The game needed to be rebooted after this fiasco.

Core Design was still the best.
