Why is Sky cast vs. Cold Steel cast even a debate? After 3rd, there should be no question whicj cast is more powerful. ah, I couldn't tell because the party composition has renne in it. I'd suggest just working it out so you nuke them all at the same time, use renne or olivier with 2x crimson eyes equipped with a variety of quartz so that you can use calamity scream and you'll more or less be set.

Don't forget to cast clock up ex/zodiac (or la forte) on your party, and clock down/enfeeble (unlikely that you'll be able to cast enfeeble, but it's definitely nice if you can), and then only after that start nuking enemies.

Make sure you have high speed for your earthwall caster, you want to have clock up ex on your party (clock down becomes useless for bosses as they become immune to them as the game goes on). Make sure you have zodiac for buffing and heal/cure petrify when necessary.

While it's tempting to use crimson eyes prioritize speed and maybe petrify resistance if you really need it

Social links are pretty awful in Trails. They're literally only put in the games in order to cater to people who like Persona.

The Sky games were games with a structured story and structured characters. Relationships and interactions were set in stone, and because of this, the writers were able to flesh them out more. All bonding events did was put a lot of Class VII's character development behind a wall and focus almost all of said development around Rean. This is especially noticeable with the female students. The females all are more shallow characters in order to accommodate the fact that Rean can romance them. Furthermore, because the romance (aside from tiny bits of Alisa) is contained behind these social links, the romance feels contrived in the overarching story.

Kloe flat out states that she's not interested in Lechter romantically. And while I actually like the dead idea of Joshua/Kloe (with Joshua/Estelle more as siblings), it's not really like Kloe needs a pairing. She can thrive in the series as the independent female monarch if need be.

I can see her dating, but she's the kind of lady who isn't quite herself when attending banquets or any occasion where she has to play her job (much like Olivert). She'll hold off adding a king to Liberl's line until she's found someone she can really trust and love. At best Lechter will end up being her project, a person she wants to learn more about and potentially help if he turns out to be fucking up the continent with Ouroboros or some other group.
