I hope we get a sequel someday, it's one of my favourite games. I'm still confused why they decided Xenoblade needs a sequel before X with its big fat To Be Continued at the end.

I havent finished the story yet but i guess its not a huge spoiler well anyway what really got me into the game is the theme, this open, alien world and even though im not a mechafag i like the skells and all that and boy there's a shitload of customization. Also i really like the music. To be honest i just plow through missions without really digging deep into the world, probably gonna do so once im done with the story missions.

they really need more variety in the hometown music though

I've never played an open-world game that felt so damn good to explore. I think having high-level enemies scattered around is a big part of it, I felt so vulnerable that even getting around felt like an achievement some of the time. I hope X2 keeps that going.

Yup, i dont mind it.

Exploring is nice because it doesnt feel like a chore, even on foot you can go pretty fast and even better on a skell. The enemies are well designed both gameplay and theme wise, besides a few exceptions these things do look alien, not all of them are humanoid creatures and thats how it should be i mean they're aliens. Its also pretty scary when you are not very high level and some giant ass creature passes by and hope you dont piss it off so you have to be carefully like a real person would.

I really want to see any info on Xenoblade 2, after the long wait for XCX I just can't trust they release it this year like they say they will with them having shown absolutely nothing.

the game's story is an absolute goddamn mess, especially in comparison to their work on xenoblade, but i'm not gonna pretend i didn't have fun just exploring the planet and fucking around with the mecha customization.

feel kind of interested going back into it to have a look at some postgame stuff like the telethia, but shit that's a ways off my endgame level. also my mim is the hottest mim.

I liked being able to jump in the pre-flight pack skell because there were plenty of areas I couldn't jump to before, and I was pretty thorough in jumping to just about every area I could jump to. All the fun disappeared once I could fly.

I'd settle for an extended port. X was the first game in a long time where I put 150 hrs in and still kept finding new stuff and enjoying myself. I can't overlook the games problems though. Hopefully some stuff would be fixed.

I suggest Lailah for status immunity/regen in overdrive, and the most important augs for the fight are Ether attribute resist augs for your skell armor.
