I liked Blizzard games when I was a kid. Loved all his stories for Diablo 1 and 2, especially all the cool extra lore in the manuals. Never played Diablo 3, WoW, or anything after Frozen Throne.

Garrosh's character made so little sense after what happened in MoP. All the fucking bullshit timetravel that has opened up 10^5 plot holes in the lore, which wasn't doing too well post-WotLKk, and had a final stake driven into it by all this bullshit.

Also Garrosh did nothing wrong, Metzen turned Thrall from awesome, stoic leader of the horde into pussy-ass shaman who made stupid fucking political decisions like putting a warmonger in charge while he "connected with the spirits". Thrall was never even supposed to be a super great shaman before the retcon in cata, just an alright one but a good leader.....

Let's not talk about this, those writing the story during and after WotLK should have been fired.

Actually, Metzen didn't want time travel. He wanted for Garrosh to go to current Outland, and build up an army there of Mag'har and Fel Orcs. It would have made for an interesting dynamic with Thrall being ousted by many of the Mag'har, and show a lot more about the damage Illidan did throughout Outland, especially with the Black Temple.

But Metzen was already moving to work on Overwatch so he couldn't really do anything for WoD.
