Is Mortal Kombat Deception a good fighting game?

Fuck no, game was ass gravy. Fell in line with deadly alliance and led to armageddon, the shitties MK game ever. Didn't stop me from playing the shit out of it, though.

The 3D MK games weren't that good.
DA had scorpion and his retarded hellfire infinite
Deception had Dairrou and his quake that had a big ass hitbox
And both had Boraicho and his puke resets.

Deadly Alliance has a really interesting story, same with deception, and I spent most of the time in Deception in the campaign mode, but GOD no, the games were pretty...well, pretty awful. Deadly Alliance functions the best out of all the 3D games, but it's still inferior to all the 2D ones, except for maybe MK1.

They're fun if you're just messing around with friends, but seriously, if you want a legitimate match against friends, MK2, UMK3, MK9, or MKX.

I've always thought Kira was the ATI promo girl

I really enjoyed Shujinko's plotline and doing tourism through the MK world

I played all the 3d mks and MK armageddon is honestly good. cool story mode, you could create your own fighter which me and my buds loved, it was good at the time. it is still probably just a great party fighter. then deception had chess combat which was pretty dope if you ask me.

I really really enjoyed deadly alliance as a kid. I got really good at stringing along incredibly long combos with Shang tsung.

When deception dropped I was excited to get it but I was absolutely blown away by the conquest mode. That game mode was easily the most fun I had in any fighting game and the story was great too! Don't understand why nobody ever mentions it ever at all ever

More than just SF fags, I don't think anyone in Asia likes it and the competitive scenes always die quicker than with other games and most tourneyfags don't really like the franchise that much either. It just lacks the depth that the Japanese fighting games have, although 9 and X are way better in that regard to previous iterations. It's still a fun game even if it's more style over substance.
