1st play through? Literal waste of time tier.
The second playthrough I learned to appreciate her and for a completionist run but she still is a waste of time.

Also the perks are literally pointless
Her confidant even had potential to be interesting too, but they completely dropped it here, which is the biggest sin of of all. It could have been good.

Her model is actually pretty cute, it's just that the interesting part of her confidant starts way too late. Nobody fucking cares about her drunk rambling, the important stuff is her involvement with the politician and what happened to her friend.

Also, most players want to finish a palace in 1 day

I'd give her improved enemy encounter, because her articles change people's perception regarding the phantom thieves, making the shadows carry more stuff for safety

I did Ohya's link near the end of the game on NG, when the public don't give two shits about the phantom thieves anymore, and you can tell Atlus were lazy with her cos of the way she always talks about the phantom thieves like they're still the hot topic.

The stuff she said was so inconsistent with what was happening plotwise that it was really noticeable.

Have a perk to give you a higher chance to encounter treasure demons.
Have a perk to reveal an enemy resistance when first encountering a new demon, and a later level's perk to reveal an enemy's weakness.
Have a perk to make enemies stop chasing you sooner if they see you instead of following you for a distance longer than most of the game's actual rooms.
Have a perk to make the player harder for shadows to detect.
Have the final level perk be to increase your ambush range / angle.

Given how overpowered most confidant abilities are I don't imagine these would be too strong by comparison aside from perhaps the last one, and they fit with her reporter theme, being searching for information and sneaking around.

There's just nothing interesting about her at all from her design, to her confidant, to her perks. The stupid haircut combined with the lipstick is just unappealing. I did a manwhore playthrough and she was the only girl I friendzoned without hesitation.

In her concept art there was a design for her where she had a ponytail that made her look 10 times better. They should have went with that so at least her design would have been okay.

I like her but her perks are fucking awful. Implied sex is also way better than a fucking fade to black before a kiss. Fuck you Ann

She's alright. Tae just hits all the same notes of her visual design (as well as being a cake), only better. Game needed one or two less cakes and more high school girls so the relationships weren't so similar.
