Mankind divided is by all means a pretty good game once you get past how unfinished and filled to the brim it is with anti-consumer bullshit. Its really only bad because of Square Enix fucking with it. Fallout 4 and Andromeda by comparison are poor games at their core and almost entirely devoid of what made their respective series special.

DX:MD was great. Graphics, level design, gameplay and side quests were all on point. It's main problems were a weak main story and no real memorable characters. It doesn't deserve to be grouped up with shit heaps like F4 and ME:Andromeda.

WRPGs aren't like JRPGs. People who play them aren't happy with 100 hours of grind, they want actual real content. The problem is real content costs a lot of money to do right these days so the WRPG is starting to take a hit on both the quality of the content and the degree of "RPG-esqueness" to the gameplay. Basically, it's become financially prohibitive to do a WRPG to the standards we might expect. They are becoming long, low quality glorified action games instead.

As a game, DE:MD is actually pretty good. It's just a disfigured corpse of the game it could have potentially been.

What I played of Fallout 4 was boring as hell, couldn't get into it.

Andromeda looks like a god damn garbage fire, not even worth pirating.
