What are you emulating tonight?
What the fuck
>>376769617
It's amazing how you can make out the proper colors in the thumbnail
>>376769617
I haven't played a mario game in over a decade. I feel like a little side scroller action. Which one is this?
Marina's game.
>>376770429
SMB3 looks like
despair
>>376769617
Why?
>>376769858
That is exactly how a CRT television worked, so it really shouldn't be too surprising.
>>376769617
Its as fun as i remember it.
I'm emulating 1998.
Pac-Man
Hey if we're underwater how can there be a
>>376773835
>>376769617
what the fuck?! How do I replicated this on my lcd
>>376776589
>>376776714
>>376776876
my fucking nigga this game was my shit
>>376769617
Probably gonna play more Grandia, shits pretty good. I probably would've never had enough interest to play it, if it weren't for an anon making a thread some weeks back claiming it was the GOAT RPG, thank you whoever you are.
Hyper Metroid
Surprisingly good Super Metroid rom hack
Trying to get into dragon quest, it's just too grindy even with the increased exp/gold of the later versions.
>>376781253
The DS version of 5 isn't too bad
>>376769617
Gitaroo man, excited for the new game and want to replay
>>376781501
I'm specifically talking about the first game.
>>376769617
Persona 3 FES
Just beat the full moon boss on 9/6
>>376781619
There's gonna be a new Gitaroo man?
I didn't know about that, the first game is still on my backlog
Castlemania Sonata of the Evening.
I've been emulating the psp version of Persona 1. I'm at the final dungeon and the tedium is really starting to wear on me at this point.
>>376773835
...time to mod rbg
Had to begin the series someday.
Yggdra Union, maybe.
>>376781253
>>376781620
A benefit of emulators is you can speed-up the grinding. I know it doesn't get rid of the grinding, but it makes it take less effort
>>376783237
Can confirm
Turbo mode really helps speed through the slow and boring bits in Persona 3, or just run around the map a lot faster
>>376769617
>>376777519
What? That's literally what all lcd and led screens are, just combinations of rgb.
>>376769617
my dick in your moms ass lol
I was playing Phantom Hourglass, but I'm too retarded to figure out how mic emulation works in Retroarch.
>>376786569
>>376786663
Third time's the charm, I believe in you anon.
>>376770429
how in the fuck is it possible to not know this. especially to realize it's mario but not which one.
>>376769617
I'm emulating the feeling of pure elation while fucking your mum in the ass lol
>>376786741
no bully, I have no idea how it happened a second time
I finished my second playthrough of Princess Maker 2 for DOS, and am looking for similarly heartwarming games to emulate. My daughter became a highly renown painter AND married the Prince! ;_;]
>>376786957
Anon, my dude, use CTRL + S next time
Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon to pump myself up for Echoes on Friday. On chapter 12
>>376770519
>>376773402
oh fuck, there was another mischief makers? what is this called?
>>376787019
Thanks, I've been typing this in for too many years, now
World's Best Brother: The Game
World's Best Father didn't pan out too well. I'm sure nothing bad will happen to Kratos this time around.
>>376769617
Damn. Filters look so good. Just like the good old days! I love the clarity.
>>376780691
My nigga
I found an old texture pack I made for Sonic Colors and was working on it. Here's before.
>>376790807
And here's after.
The world maps use lower-quality textures than the actual stages do, so I just replaced the map ones with the stage ones.
>>376787532
>that clarity on the pixels
Blur that somehow what the fuck.
>>376787212
it's rakugaki showtime
beat em up game by treasure similar to super smash bros that has marina as an unlockable character
>>376792796
and the best
>>376769617
Either Innocent Sin (PSP version) or Symphony Of the Night.
Currently nothing, but I beat Phantasy Star IV not long ago. Pretty damn good.
Dragon Quest 3
Game goes downhill after you get the boat just like 2. It was pretty nice up to this point, now it's just boring.
The same thing I emulate every night.
SMT Nocturne
>>376790851
Good work anon, texture packs are a pain to make
>>376779895
This, holy shit what a good hack, most are mediocre as hell
>>376795115
whats that, brain?
>>376794893
Anon no.
>>376769617
Digital Devil Saga 2. It's pretty good, although I'm not too sure exactly what is happening.
>>376790851
can't help but wonder why they didn't make forces look like this
all they had to do is take the colours artstyle and give it some AA
>>376792645
don't listen to that faggot. bilinear filtering sucks.
>>376769617
>>376797724
You suck.
>>376797926
>Back in the day hardware manufacturers were trying to reduce blur at all cost
>2017, some little faggot blurs his image on purpose despite having perfect sharpness available
>>376781619
Hope Rap Rabbit is decent.
>>376770519
I want Marina to shake shake her ass on my lap.
DQIX
>>376796012
My dude
this and God Hand
>>376769617
>>376798404
That's not some shitty smoothing filter, you dingdong. That's shadowmask emulation, it's what games actually looked like on CRT.
>>376777519
with shaders
https://www.shadertoy.com/view/XsjSzR
>>376792796
>similar to super smash bros
How is it similar at all? Rakugaki Showtime is 3D, and largely about tossing shit across the map with auto-targeting.
Only similarities I can think of are both being "party fighters" and both having a hand as the final boss in single player, iirc.
>>376797520
Too much time and effort (money), probably.
>>376769617
I was going to play Nocturne but the game froze after I got out from the hospital and I lost all motivation to play it.
>>376780691
Did Sakura come from this game?
>>376801194
No, it's a cameo.
It's fun. I would buy the vita version if I had one.
>>376801278
For tou
