Bethesda no longer gives early copies to anyone.

This was obviously a publicity stunt by IGN. Since they didn't get a review copy, they didn't get the bonus traffic of having a review up prior to release, they had to compete with every other site, YouTube video and forum for impressions of the game. By giving it a 4 they created controversy and got tons of people to go to IGN and read the review.

Well if you weren't a retard you'd probably be able to figure out that the review was intended to shame the developers of Prey for not releasing review copies so issues like this could get found and fixed before release date. I'm a big fan of the game, but not releasing an early copy to the reviewers was the biggest mistake they could have made for sales along with not putting any money into advertising what so ever.

To add on to this, his save got corrupted after FORTY HOURS, when he said the game was "just hitting its stride". For the record, most people who played it on the hardest difficulty took about 20-26 hours to 100% it.
