So /v/, what are your biggest achievements in gaming? Personally for me it was beating darksouls without leveling
I apologies for the edgy name, I was much younger and more crungy all those 1 years ago.
But not a cringey as misspelling cringey.
>>376766927
Oh, hey, I just got done beating 3 at SL1. Lots of tough parts, it took 60 hours with the DLC. I still haven't done 2 at SL1, I think it would be too frustrating.
>>376767265
There's nothing more satisfying than doing a charged R2 after using the Dragonslayer's Axe weapon art.
>>376766927
I did it on NG+7 with aggressive enemies mod
you're smalltime
>>376767073
its okay I read it as 'Black Ora' and pictured your guy as Eddy Murphy cosplaying Star Platinum
There's nothing you can do in videogames that can be considered a true achievement worthy of admiration unless you won some kind of tournament and even then it's kind of nothing.
>>376766927
jelly?
>>376767265
Most of 2 at SL1 would be piss easy compared to some of the stupid bullshit in 3. I can't think of a single part of 2 that would be frustrating at SL1 except for Lost Sinner without any ADP. You could say Pursuer, but he is the poster boy of dodge-left-to-win.
>>376768270
I usually never feel confident in using it, but I used it all the time against Freide when she turned invisible. She gives you plenty of time to charge it up.
I have a world record on a Trials Evolution minigame.
SL1 NG+7 Dark Souls (twice)
SL1 NG Dark Souls 2
SL1 NG Dark Souls 3
LVL4 NG+6 Bloodborne (twice)
Those, pretty much. I really don't enjoy it much anymore so I guess I'm done with them.
>>376768673
>that can be considered a true achievement worthy of admiration
Everything you do can be considered nothing by someone else. Not really saying much.
>>376766927
I went through the For Honor campaign on realistic with the stipulation that there was to be no parrying. The orochi general and fighting apollyon on the stairs kicked my ass so much.
>>376766927
>offensive pyromancy
you have nothing to be proud of 3bh
>>376768673
This. I disagree with the tournament part though. Using learned skills to make money doing something you like is cool.
>>376768820
>twice
Fucking hell, I can't even muster up an attempt.
I played Overwatch for a whole hour once. B)
>>376766927
>Personally for me it was beating darksouls without leveling
But that's the easiest one to do without leveling.
>>376768995
its boring. all it does is extend fights
>>376767265
How did you do any damage on Midir? Lightning buffed a raw weapon?
>>376766927
I beat Bloodborne without healing, it wasn't too bad aside from Logarius giving me PTSD.
>>376769627
I used the raw Dragonslayer's axe, which already deals lightning damage. Midir wasn't actually too hard, I've gotten pretty good at fighting him.
>>376766927
>chaos servant
Best covenant
>>376769928
>waifu fags
The best covenant isGravelords
>>376768995
Original poster here
Its really not that bad if you've already played the game a bunch. Honestly the worst part is Shadows just because of the corpse run which takes 2.5 minutes each time
Funny enough, Ludwig took me 18 hours on NG+6 but on NG+7 I killed him first try. I guess that grinding really did pay off.

Fuck logarius man, I'm on my first playthrough and I think I might not be levelled for Cainhurst. I got through the whole thing with great difficulty but he just fucks my shit up
>>376770392
The only NG+7 boss I've fought is Midir and it was because I was helping a friend. That was fucking dreadful, couldn't imagine doing entire playthroughs of it.
Well done.
>>376770038
fuck off skelly, spider is best covenant
>>376770646
When hes charging the explosion, backstab him. This prevents the aura that deflects bullets and well - does a lot of damage to him. Then just either parry or bait out jump attacks. You can also stunlock him consistently for two hits and then back off if you're using a heavier weapon.
>>376770646
If you haven't learned to parry then do it immediately. I'm not even kidding. Logarius was a nightmare for me initially when I fought him while twohanding a Kirkhammer. His 2nd phase fucked my shit up but then I realized he's super easy to parry. You could literally spam bullets in the 2nd phase and you'll successfully parry him 7/10 times.
Logarius is probably the hardest boss in the game until you get to the DLC but parrying him makes him an absolute pushover.
>>376770646
just use that drink that gives you massive poise
>>376770792
Thats because Midir is a pretty boring boss to be honest. A lot of flashy good looking moves but hardly any mechanical skill involved in avoiding them.
Full playtroughs really aren't that big of a deal, each game has one or two places where you'll just get stuck for a while. In Bloodborne that happened on Shadows, Ludwig, Maria, Orphan and Laurence. Also the chalices in general were some turbo cancer but I had to do them for 27% gems.
Also thanks.
>>376770986
lead elixir
>>376770792
I tried helping someone with co-op for Demon Prince at like NG+4 with a pyro build. That shit seemed downright impossible because the 1st phase attacks pretty much one-shot me even though I had about 30 Vig.
>>376770819
Get to NG+ and tell me that, I dare you
>>376766927
Finishing NES Castlevania
Got server first archaeologist in WoW when Cata launched, 30 fucking hours straight of doing that shit. I actually fell asleep for 6-7 hours after getting 450 and still got first 525 guessing people gave up after they saw me get it. Safe to say I will never even attempt something like again the last 10 hour were a battle with keeping my own sanity.
I also got the Bladder of Steel achievement in Rockband 2 on expert guitar. For anyone who doesn't know what is there was something called the endless setlist where you had to complete every song in one go. It was about 6 1/2 hours and to get the Bladder of Steel achievement you couldn't pause or fail a single song. The only break you got was about 5 hours in during Let There be Rock and that was only because it had sections with no guitar for over a minute.
>>376771064
Every single attack was a one-shot, I had a shit weapon for the fight and to top it off, I'm not that great. I ended up blasting him with arrows while my friend stayed in melee because he already knew all his moves at that point.
>>376771102
I also helped him with that. Could've really used a better weapon.
>>376771280
Gravelord doesn't give you anything that would be any more useful in ng+ than pyromancy
>>376771487
You can only be Gravelorded in NG+.
