Yeah it glides across the ground then gains flight when it gets to you to do that animation. A lot of people don't know this because of your reason.

thundercloud and bowser shell. I'd pick more but those are my two favs out of those. the cloud was one of the few things I liked about wii, frantically playing hot potato with the cloud led to some really funny moments.
