You switch it out for a graverobber.
In a shuffle group. Jester opens with finale, putting him in the back, where he buffs the group or de-stressess, until the finale buff is gone, and solo/finale again.
Or
In the back, buffing/de-stressing
Or
In the middle stacking bleeds with another dot character (like Grave Robber), shifting to the back to de-stress/buff as necessary.
Fuck.
I like keeping him in third slot as a bleeder/de-stresser
he can work in quite a few swap comps with grave robber and highwayman

Depends on difficulty. In champion/darkest, you absolutely want battle ballad, mainly for accuracy; otherwise it's not that useful and any attack would be better. Inspiring tune is always good but more critical in harder difficulties. Bleed attacks are less useful at higher difficulties due to the lack of good trinkets for it and how DOT doesn't really scale to lategame. Same with solo; debuff percentage is too low. But if you're shuffled and have the opportunity to go for a finale, that can be alright at any difficulty. Slice off is still kind of better than dirk stab because it doesn't fuck up your formation.
Apprentice: harvest, solo, finale, inspiring tune
Darkest: finale, slice off, battle ballad, inspiring tune

Spam Battle Ballad and laugh at your team ripping enemies to shreds before they can move. Also stress healing is useful.

Replace him with shag&scoob.

Soon my dude
Just started a new Game. What are some negative quirks that justify tossing someone out at Low lvl, aside from stealing/klepto?

Night blindness especially on leper.

All the obessive traits imo, except for maybe bloodthirsty
All the major ones like Clumpsy on a character that has a reliable dodge, Lazy Eye for ranged, The Yips, stuff like that.
It also all depends what other traits they have/get, if its worth investing the money to rid them of bad ones.

yeah, that sounds logical

What about the "20% more stress against unholy/eldich/human" ones? I tend to ignore it cause I have a jester/hm with me most of the times but I probably shouldn't ignore it.
