Greatshields are slow is a meme. You always have time to block.

I actually sort of quit the game because I can´t beat the Blitz Hannibal.
He´s just too fast and hard hitting for little old me.

But you can block every single move from it with a greatshield. Ouroboros is the best for that point in the game.

Consider yourself lucky you didn't play the PSP version, GER Lindow is amazing in comparison.

So you are getting hit? Learn to block. I tried just using dodge all the way through the game but sometimes you need to rely on blocking. Use it.
One shotting is literally non-issue if you can just block it.

The jumping lasersword attack is fucking me over.
I block it but it goes past my block. I haven't figured out how to place myself. Thats my biggest problem.

He hits me if i just face him and shield - He also hits me if i evade into any direction due to him changing his direction midflight depending on where you go

How close are you when you block? He might be dead angleing you since he's coming from above. The Camlanns have the same issue since their tail hitbox is massive and you have to block it just right.
