2 is decent, don't play 3 and you'd be best off pretending it doesnt exist.

I got to the part with the invincible guy and basically just stopped. Dunno, it was getting sort of samey, but maybe I should go back.

DS2 is more actiony but very good. DS3 is only action. Allegedly.

Dead space 2 is the best one while Dead space 3, while fun, is the worst in the series.

1&2 are both great. Some people prefer 1, some 2. 3 could have been just as good, but roughly 70% into developement EA stepped in and forced the devs to make the game more dudebro like, which ruined it.

Dead Space was great but it is no RE4. Coming from EA it deserves more praise.

Basically similar to the Mass Effect series. If you've played that then you know roughly what the DS sequels are gonna be like.

Since 2 is bundled with all the DLC nowadays, be prepared to spend a little while fiddling with the first store throwing all that shit away if you don't want to ruin the game for yourself, it has a nice pace and progression of items and suits built in that those free items shit all over

2 is less atmospheric and spooky, more action. 3 gets more shit than it deserves, it has its moments and despite everything I don't regret playing it.
