Been pretty damn fun so far, spells and character switching does a lot to keep the combat interesting, not a whole lot of people in matchmaking though.

Witcher 1, never played any of the games in the series so I thought I'd go about it sequential order. The gameplay is nothing like what I've seen of Witcher 3 since this is more like a light Diablo playstyle, the pacing is real fucking slow, and the animations and designs of the npcs are just completely fucking goofy like they were made by the Postal 2 team.
That said I can't help but be drawn in by the story and dialogue, unlike the majority of the "choice/consequence" games I've played before this one actually does a great way of masking them entirely. You don't know what your actions will cause later on, or whether the impact is large or small on your game. I also like how Geralt acts, he's got a mild edge to his lines and you get a lot of opportunities to tell people off.

It's 4 with the hand to hand combat gutted and replaced with some questionable gunplay (the mainline game shooting with added manual aim) plus zombies and fanservice. The substories are very samey, but have their moments.
