Yeah, it's still behind the best games of the genre. The last few games have actually felt like genuine improvements over each other though as opposed to 60 dollar roster updates. Hopefully they keep going in that direction instead of taking 2 steps backwards. It's EA though, so I'm sure they'll screw up somehow.

Nah, the features are still lacking when compared to 05. They brought the practice squad and formation substitutions back though. They also changed the scouting system and brought back the combine for franchise. But yeah, feature wise it's not even close to being as deep as 05 was. Which is a shame because the gameplay is better and more realistic than it's ever been and it's actually fun to play defense now. I'm hoping they keep going in the right direction, but I have my doubts.

unrealistic, should never happen that way, especially not on first play of game, tackling for a loss on a dive play basically requires your center and guard to literally fall down on the ground
