Hard to say. The last Shadowrun game - Chronicles flopped quite embarrassingly and couldn't sell even 200k copies, even though the game itself was pretty good for a cooped focused turn based squad tactics game. HBS have moved on to making Battletech game(s?), so we're not likely to see a new Shadowrun game for a good long while.

Lazerus treatments are insanely expensive (Only a whole other level beyond the wealthiest of shadowrunners, we're talking corp executives here) and have a suspected issue that eventually the body can't hold itself together after too many treatments (Which are required upkeep to sustain the newly grown limbs.).

There's also the issue that she's still got her soul tied to the adversary, it's simply that her essence is so diminished that he has no real effect on her. It's likely that by restoring her essence, she's simply relapse back into her previous state.

None of the stats really have big story impacts, some skills allow you to avoid combat like 6 charisma and decking. My talker for dragonfall is decker with rifles and 6 in charisma. Thats pretty much most of the stuff you care about in conversations. Though you can avoid most decker problems taking Blitz but I HATE HIM SO MUCH THAT I MADE MYSELF A DECKER JUST SO I DONT NEED TO TAKE HIS USELESS ASS WITH ME.

Oh right, good etiquettes are security and corporate i think. If youre going 6 in charisma then you have 3 to choose from, i think the others have middling uses. One important thing is i think you need to have 6 in body to avoid one final combat situation. The mission is some hot broad giving you a mission to bomb her work place but i cant remember what it was. Its pretty late in the game too so just make sure you have enough points for that.

Leopard shaman-decker using cyberwear affinity to avoid eating shit on spells is a fun build. Similar to Jake Armitage, you suffer at the start but once you find your legs you're a monster.

How it feels to hold hands?

I enjoyed all three main Shadowrun games, but they don't really have very good encounter design or challenging missions. I bought Chronicles recently and oh boy did it fucking destroy my ass with the difficulty. The main story I managed to finish with a lot of struggle, but the DLC missions are literally unplayable ofr me unless I have some overleveled veterans carrying my retarded ass.

I never played Chronicles, but the trilogy games were pretty flat with combat. I can understand starting from scratch with mechanics will make things feel pretty light, but for the most part, combat felt kind of bland, though it did improve with each release.

Is Chronicles any good though? I could go for some more gameplay focused action just because I found myself at times thinking HK felt more like a novel broken up by 20 minute gameplay segments.

Chronicles has arguably a better story than any of the main SHadowrun games, but the characters are pretty much cardboard cutouts. It also manages to present the setting lore much better and in much bigger chunks than any HBS Shadowrun game. However, make no mistake, the game is NOT a RPG, it is a coop focused turn based squad tactics game and it's focus is on pure combat.

Another thing of note is that it's balls to the wall hard and has somewhat different gameplay mechanics. For example, the devs completely removed the overwatch feature, since it made the game way too easy due to possibility of abusing camping tactics, or so they have claimed. The combat is still plenty tactical due to baundance of skills, though. In the end, the game is drastically harder than HBS games and will eat the unprepared player alive.
