Yeah the vanilla helmets kind of look like ass if you're going for a qt character. Wish they had more like pic related. Found one and it looked great but I was playing a mage.

Might do a survival playthrough next as well. Seasons of Skyrim Winter Edition changes the warmer regions into more snow tundra so I might go for that as a change of scenery.

the level scaling in this game is in ranges, so for example bandits start at level 1 and go only to mid levels later on, while vampires start at something like level 10 or was it 16? same is true for mages

That's the issue with all ice mages. You have to either force them into close quarters by hugging a wall or stagger lock them. If you're playing a higher difficulty you may get fucked anyway though.

Make sure to make dungeons dark. I made it so that caves are actually dark as fuck. Makes it a bit spooky. And look up immersive armors they might have something for you

You can also just carry it on one hand but I'm using a two handed sword in my first melee play through. I never liked melee in skyrim but once i started using TK dodge it got fun. You use PerMa, SkyRe, or Requiem?

Is remastered special edition good for mods or should I just go with the base game? I will mod everything so compability is important.

Its and overhyped borefest. The combat like in most Bethesda games is clunky and consists of mashing the attack button. Because of this you cant take any of the serious or "epic" fights seriously because its just you flailing your weapon and possibly pausing and healing. Rinse and repeat. There's ZERO strategy or skill required for the combat. Also, all the caves and the such are the same with VERY minor differences. Only worth playing if you plan on playing with mods.

That mod looks like fun if not a little OP.

I like having to sheathe my sword though I even have a mod that makes you go through an animation whenever you drink a potion. It's called Animations of you want to look it up.

And I can't play the game without the overhauls. Right now I'm using PerMa and its great since it fits into my whole survival thing since when enemies hit it hurts. Which is why i needed TK dodge for the melee to be fun. Also a Archery Gameplay Overhaul which makes so that arrows stay in ya, and cause a bleeding effect, until you take them out.

My Skyrim is really revamped.

I've been toying with this build in my head for awhile.

The character dumps 100% into Health. No Magicka or Stamina. Max out Enchanting, and put both Fortify Health and Fortify Health Regen on his Chest, Amulet and Ring (the only items that can have those enchants). With the perks Enchanter 5 and Corpus Enchanter, that nets 85 Health and 34% Health Regen per item. Then he takes the Lady Stone for another passive +25% Health Regen and visiting a Shrine of Arkay grants 25 Health.

Now, your Health Regen is based off of your overall Health, so the higher that is, the more you regenerate per second. So, assuming this character is level 21 and has a base Health of 300 + 255 for Enchants + 25 for the Blessing is 580 Health. Health Regeneration starts at 0.7% a second, so that's 4HP per second. And with the 127% increase from all sources, he'd be up to... 5.08HP per second.

Well. That's underwhelming. Nevermind then.
