I tried to tell people about it but everybody thought I was trolling and they told me to go back to Neppit.

It really is a solid JRPG with an improved combat system, fun characters, and pretty catchy music this time around. Yeah it's not god's gift to mankind like certain other JRPGs, but if you're a fan of JRPGs at all, the Re;birth games and Megadimension are decent video games.

It's too bad the memes went so far to the point that people refuse to play Neptunia simply because it's that "meme game." Nobody even gives it a fucking chance and it's mind boggling. Yeah that first game on PS3 is shit, but little did you know Compile Heart actually improves when they make a sequel.

To add to this the ReBirth games aren't really sequels from each other at all. Aside from VII, which is at least partly set in the same world as Victory/RB2, they are all set in different dimensions and have a lot of differences, they don't even share the same versions of the main characters or anything like that, you can jump in at any point and not feel lost or like you are missing previous character development

Like 30-40h on the first playthrough is normal for CH RPGs. It's not too bad when you can easily get them for 5$ a month after release.
At least the original FFF in particular was a super unfinished game though, I'm not sure just how much they fixed it in the remake but the OG one definitely felt like half the game was missing.
