no sequel because gamers only care about The Last of Us

Holler if you're dead.
Man, the Japanese cover looks strikingly better. It always dumbfounds me how Japanese covers always look tasteful, unique, and excellent - where as American covers look mundane and awful.
Binary Domain was a great game, but that American box art is a tradegy. It looks like they hired someone from a college art course to draw in colored pencils.

This game was fucking ahead of it's time. The way you reacted with A.I and the way the a.i kept moving despite body parts falling off was insane.
>>376693263
in case of Binary Domain both are decent.
>>376693094
it was poorly marketed like most Sega titles
i didnt know about it until it was a free game on PS+
>>376693094
It was an average TPS with a dumb animu version of the tired "robots have feelings too" story. It was decent but I have no interest in ever seeing those characters again.
>>376693263
thats pretty garbage
>>376693480
>I didn't know about a game because I only visit real good gaming news websites such as Polygon and Kotaku
found your problem
>>376693094
Fuck you Iboughtit. It was fucking fun even before the mouse aim fix
>>376693557
Not him but fuck yourself. The game famously flew under the radar for almost everyone selling less than 50,000 world wide in it's release windows. Even /v/ didn't really know of it until it started popping up in Steam sales and the handful of people who tried it began mentioning it in the "underrated gems" threads.

Sega's marketing was awful, even worse than Vanquish's marketing. The game went mostly ignored by everyone aside from Yakuza fans.
People probably thought it looked like a discount Mass Effect ripoff.
Sadly, BD is better than Mass Effect. Aside for how totally dumb the reaction to eugenics superhuman babies are.

>Not him
then don't quote me
It's true it flopped due to Sega '"marketing". Just like alpha protocol
>>376693890
>The game went mostly ignored by everyone
maybe because ign and polygon were busy marketing Call of Duty and Mass Effect?
>when you're at the end and the frenchbot comes in to rescue your bro
>>376694065
>when you didn't max out loyalty and big nig didn't stick witcha
>>376694017
Any website was busy giving coverage to any game with an actual marketing budget, which is Sega's fault. Very few people bought the game on release too, even in Japan.
>>376693968
Not him, but get the fuck to twitter if you don't like new people talking to you without your permission.
>>376694017
IGN reviewed it, you moron. And they gave it a good score. Polygon didn't even exist at the time.
>>376693094
No sequel because it's a rather self contained story and not much can continue out of the given ending
>>376694065
>>376694134
Kain and Big Bo were the best.
>>376693094
What would the sequel even be about?
>>376694397
Knuckles impregnating the rice farmer
I bought Binary Domain at launch. I still play with Japanese players late at night sometimes. Great game.
>>376693825
How do you fix the mouse aiming? I remember dropping this game because of it even though it looked like a cool game
>>376694752
There was official patch a month or two after release. It went from "fucking unplayable" to "dead space 1 vsync issues"
>>376694752
They patched the bug. The mouse aiming is still not great because there is still some acceleration there but the game is more than playable now.

>Japanese covers always look tasteful, unique, and excellent
There are a bunch of them that are better but don't kid yourself. A lot of Japanese covers are jumbled up messes that try to fit all the main characters into the image and look generic as fuck.
