I also preordered the digital deluxe edition on PS4, I've been maining my boy Kazuya since Tekken 4 and I've been honing my skills with TTT2, hoping it actually means something in T7. I've always played Tekken casually but knowing it's the last one, I feel like I'm obliged to actually get good at the game for online.

Had it on pre-order on Amazon the second it was available. Can't wait. Been playing Tekken so much with friends that matches became really fucking intense. Can't wait.

uhh steam i guess. my only worry is people playing on toasters will make it hitch worse than than the arcade version. KI has a performance test you have to pass to get your online license, T7 might have something like that.

also super looking forward to learning a bunch of characters. the complete opposite of SFV where I find it hard to care about even a single one. but for starters i will be focusing on Asuka since it looks like my T5 play will pretty much all carry over and then just adding in her new stuff from TT and T7. the soccer punt kick looks hella satisfying, and its guaranteed after some combos so you will be finishing a lot of rounds by punting them in the face. i think thats a Tag/T6 move but anyway, its new to me.

i have had one of these for a few years. not too bad but i might upgrade when the game comes out

redpill me on stick or pad for this game. I have and am familiar with both styles of play, but the directional inputs of the game seem easier on pad. Am I mistaken, or is it just preference.

it kind of matter less because tekken is mostly a 4-button game unless you like macros for some reason. the front 4 buttons are almost the same layout as a typical 6 button fighting cab. personally i would probably use the right side buttons, they are in more of a diamond shape like PS pad face buttons, which is what i'm used to for tekken. you need to be able to hit all the 2 button variations comfortably, 1+2, 1+3, 1+4, etc. i "overhand" grip the buttons on a pad and use three finger, since it sucks to just use your thumb in a typical "underhand" pad grip.
