He was too fucking innocent. Jackie dindu fucking nuffin'. Man, I wish Sleeping Dogs had a fuckin' sequel about a cop who goes full Triad rather than staying full cop.
I really liked this game, even if it was a bit goofy and a bit drawn out, but it was fucking solid.
I wish there was a way to sort of change the story. I would have liked to save Jackie. Somehow. Some way. Somewhere.

I wish I could pin why I liked it so much.

The story was simple, but told very well. The world was foreign and lively, and the story gave you a reason to explore it. Or feel invested, at least. And the design choices-- weird and janky, but endearing. I'll never forget listening to Wei's voice actor awkwardly sing karaoke

I don't wanna sound too racist, but the Chinatowns I've been to are almost universally really well-run and devoid of most drug crimes and ghetto stuff. They're not perfect, but they're Asian so they're pretty okay. It's fun to explore them.

Not really, no. They're very linear, and kind of boring. Do it if you have absolutely NOTHING else to play, and don't mind wasting 3 hours of your time(combined play time for each DLC.)

Now the Zodiac Tournament DLC, that's a solid DLC.

The game was pretty fun, but I always found the conclusion way too quick. Seemed like they ran out of budget and had to wrap everything up in a single mission, and the mission wasn't even that long, everything sort of just happened all of a sudden.
