to be honest, SoTC nowadays is a pretty boring game... it was shocking at the time because of the art style and the ability to fight giant beasts and climb into them.

It's like making a game out of a simgle game mechanic nowadays.

It was pure gold back then, and who still plays it does it for the nostalgia factor. Out of the historical context it's a pretty bland game.
