GOTY for me my fellow anonymous! The graphics are AMAZING. And having a female protagonist in this day and age? very progressive.

If I had to compare Horizon: Zero Dawn to another recent game I would say it's like Nier except without the creepy sexualism, better graphics (i already mentioned that lol), better gameplay, and overall better experience.

It's a great game and severely underrated, so spread the love so that we can get more great games from Guerrilla Games and Sony!

You should give it a go. Theres not a lot of replayability in it, and there are one or two small problems, but if it goes on sale at any point, id reccomend giving it a go, its pretty fun.

Also, i found it quite easy, even at the highest difficulty, so make sure its on the highest difficulty so you dont just sail right through the game

I don't know. I played around 10 hours of it and I have zero wish to go back. It is by no means a bad game, but such an uninspired, mediocre title that has all the worst elements of this generation.

Ill agree with you on the crafting. It really was pretty shitty. I wish it was more like the Monster Hunter games, where youd need lots of parts from one of two monsters to make the weapon. Not just a fuck load of shards and a single drop from 1 robot

There was also the chick wanting medical supplies, but someone else took them and you track them down. I wouldn't call most of the quests a fetch. They're mostly witcher-sense "track something to the thing and then kill something." There also aren't that many quests in general in the game, and the game is really short for the genre. Which works pretty well actually. It knows there isn't really that much depth to the core gameplay loops, so it doesn't try to stretch it across 100 hours like Witcher. I think I nearly 100% Horizon in like 30.

It lacked interactivity with the world. Everything was just go to X location and complete Y task.

But in Witcher 3, they were generally supported by a great story window that usually presented some dilemma or had some funny dialogue. But Horizon doesn't really have a lot of style or good writing, at least in my opinion, making these missions a chore.
