Literally all of those are subjective except the career. The problem I have is that they drew up and wrote your average good girl and slapped a cute design on her. Makoto has similar problems but at least has archetypes going for her rather than only having "is nice, is cute". If you like smart girls or are an ass man or like the idea of teaching a girl how to have fun she has something there to appeal to you.

Ann has "looks like used goods but isnt" "supports her friends" and "optimistic nice girl" going for her which are so common they're barely archetypes at all except the first which is just a symptom of Japanese writing.

Saying Ann would be nice to hang out with doesn't mean a lot when most fictional girls are similarly written to be likeable. Unless it's your first game you end up wanting something to differentiate her from the crowd. Most main heroines have this problem look at any dating sim like harvest moon or what have you. Sure they might make nice partners but they're also clearly written with general rather than specific appeal.

This is why ice said Ann is average but not great. She doesn't really have any bad points to make you dislike her but that's also part of the problem.

Strange metaphors aside it'd still a deflection and I don't need to deny or acknowledge being "called out" because it's actually irrelevant to my point. Rather than saying I'm no mathematician you need to point out what's wrong.
