And in Breath of the Wild seeing the more peaceful Eastern style dragon for the first time was one of the most mystifying things I'd ever experienced in a game.

Lore behind TES dragons is pretty cool, that being said I hate most of the Dragon designs.
The few that are good and look iconic, imposing and somehow unique at the same time are Dragons like Grigori.

...now again, that being said since I hate most overdesigned or underdesigned Dragon designs, I usually prefer TES dragons to most vidya Dragons for the lore behind them, ageless literal splinters of time manifested in forms of giant Lizards (or sometimes other forms). I also like how Dragonborn is essentially a Dragon, he isn't a half Dragon or some sort of a hybrid, the only thin that he lacks is an immortal vessel which he can achieve in various ways, other than that he is literally a Dragon as far as metaphysics are concerned.

One thing that always seemed strange reaction to dragons in Skyrim is as if we've never seen Dragons in TES before, this design of Dragons in TES has been there since the creation of the series, in all of the incarnations where we have seen larger Draconic aspects like Akatosh or Draconic statues or usual Dragons like Redguard, they've looked like this, yet people act like Skyrim invented this design for TES.

I honestly don't know the state of the site. I just hang out and do the daily shit in an attempt to craft a Familiar (think petpet from Neopets). There's a PvE and PvP game where you make your dragons fight either monsters or other dragons, and it's pretty fun. Leveling is a bitch though.

My problem with calling wyverns dragons has nothing to do with whether or not wyverns are dragons.
The problem is, all these draconic creatures have their own names (wyverns, drakes, wyrms, etc.) that tell you exactly what they are, EXCEPT for regular six limbed bog standard dragons.
We just call those dragons dragons.
I just want people to be specific. If your draconic creature looks like one of the bajillion other names, fucking call it that.
Let's leave the word dragon to the one type of dragon that isn't called anything else but dragon.
