Did you guys like hitman 2016? i'm playing it currently and it seems repetitive. still a great game though.
>>
>>376625695
I've started the series recently playing Blood Money and HITMAN tm pretty much concurrently.

The new game is significantly harder, if only because of the guards that can spot you even in disguise.

And I don't even know how to properly use the Suitcase in BM which people say breaks the game even further.

>>376626743
episodic release was actually great for the game. it kept it from just coming out and having people forget about it. instead every month or so it'd come back and up and people could talk about the new level/targets/etc.

if anything, it was the one game that got the episodic release right.
>>
>>376626743
For what its worth I think one positive of the games episodic format was that it encouraged a lot of players newer to the series to go through and take their time with each level instead of just storming through the content.

Additionally, each level had to be much more densely packed with content because it was going to come out in episodes.

While the merits of an episodic release are up for debate, I think hitman made great use of the concept.

Mate, I'm going to be honest there, I think you're putting all the blame on the party that least deserves it. Regardless of the online DRM that forced you to connect to the publisher's servers, the game was actually good, and I'm not letting the fact that I needed an internet connection to enjoy it stop me from enjoying it.
