Playing he long haul game with this series, I've picked up all the DLC but resolutely still only play dwarves, just going to keep accumulating armies until they finish the third and I've got the ultimate TW:W experience to grow old and learn to play other races with.

Exact opposite here. I preordered the game and was hype as fuck. Then they released the DLC armies for like $17 a piece and I nope'd out hard. If I want to get raped by DLC, I'll just go back to Train Simulator.

Seems like a good deal to me, I mean how else do you expect a company to get all of this into a game? The other side would be them releasing maybe one faction as free DLC for each game and then moving on to the next thus leaving out tons of factions.

Warhammer fans are already annoying as fuck to deal with, you leave out someones favorite and everyone has a meltdown or you change one little thing/don't get one model right and everyone loses their fucking minds. I'd be ecstatic if I were you that someone out there is putting in this much effort to get as complete of a Warhammer world into the games.

You can always wait for a sale and just buy each game for 12-20 with all DLC down the road.

Honestly, if you work full time, it should be no trouble picking this up as they're released for somebody who wants to collect the entire game. I think your attitude towards dlc would fucking cripple the entire concept, and to be so narrow minded lay hateful towards the practice is to hate the concept that we can release a game and build off of it, rather than running prohibitively high developmental costs and times to release it all at once like you seem to expect

You can read the developmental diary, the explanation ofr DLC pricing and the roadmap they're using for the future of both paid and free content.
